Data Protection
Last updated: 2026-03-04
Scope
This notice describes how TraceLattice Academy processes personal data when you visit flash-current.one, create an account, enroll in courses, or contact moderators. It applies to learners, corporate buyers, and newsletter readers unless a separate agreement states otherwise.
We operate with a Korea-facing desk and may use processors in other regions when they provide adequate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognized at the time of processing.
If you interact only with static marketing pages and never submit a form, we still process limited technical data such as server logs as described under data collected.
Use of data
We use contact details to respond to requests, deliver course access, send operational notices like schedule changes, and—if you opt in—share community digests or product updates.
We analyze aggregated usage to improve navigation and lab performance. We do not sell personal data as a line of business and we do not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects solely by profiling in the sense forbidden under applicable Korean privacy guidance.
When you join moderated forums, your posts are visible according to that product’s access rules. Deleting an account may not erase quoted copies that other users downloaded lawfully before deletion.
Contact
Questions about this notice can be sent to contact@flash-current.one with “Privacy” in the subject line. We aim to acknowledge within five business days for operational requests and within a month for rights requests unless complexity requires an extension permitted by law.
If we appoint a data protection representative in the European Economic Area in the future, we will publish their coordinates here. Until then, the Korea desk remains your primary contact.
For postal correspondence, use the mailing address shown on the Contact page. Include enough detail for us to verify your identity proportionately before we disclose or change records.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port certain data, and to object to some processing. We will verify requests to prevent fraud and may deny requests where law requires or permits refusal.
Where deletion conflicts with legitimate retention—for example tax or accounting records—we will explain the limitation and narrow retention to what is necessary.
You may withdraw marketing consent anytime via unsubscribe links or by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Retention
Account and billing records are retained for the period required by Korean tax and commercial law, typically up to five years for relevant documents unless a longer period applies to a specific transaction.
Course progress metadata is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward so you can retrieve certificates unless you request earlier deletion that we can honor without breaking legal duties.
Server logs with IP addresses are rotated on a short cycle unless needed to investigate security incidents, in which case isolated copies may be kept until the investigation concludes.
Third parties
We use infrastructure and email delivery providers who process data on our instructions. Contracts require confidentiality, security measures, and assistance with rights requests where feasible.
If we link to external resources, their privacy practices govern when you leave our site. We do not control community tools operated by partners; read their notices before signing in.
In the event of a merger or acquisition, personal data may transfer to a successor under confidentiality commitments at least as protective as this notice, with notice where required.
Data collected
We collect identifiers such as name, email, organization, and phone when you submit forms; authentication events; payment references handled by our processors; and content you upload to assignments.
Technical data includes browser type, device category, approximate location derived from IP for fraud prevention, and cookies as described in our Cookie Preferences materials hosted on the imprint page.
We avoid collecting sensitive categories such as health data unless you voluntarily include them in a message; please do not share sensitive information unrelated to support needs.
