Liability
TraceLattice Academy provides training materials and instructor feedback for professional development. We are not responsible for decisions you make during live investigations, employer policies, or outcomes of workplace reviews.
To the fullest extent permitted under the law of the Republic of Korea, our aggregate liability arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific course giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the event, except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is unlawful. For all other claims, you agree that indirect, incidental, or consequential damages are excluded unless a court of competent jurisdiction determines otherwise.
Intellectual property
Course videos, lab images, worksheets, and instructor comments are protected. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use them for personal learning and internal team practice inside the organization that paid for a team seat.
You may not resell, publicly repost, or use materials to build a competing training product. Attribution snippets for your resume or internal wiki are welcome when they fairly describe participation without implying endorsement.
If you believe we hosted material that infringes your rights, email our contact address with specific URLs and ownership evidence. We will review and respond in line with reasonable operational timelines.
Service description
We deliver scheduled cohorts, asynchronous studios, and private workshops focused on foundational digital forensics skills. Features such as office hours, peer review, and downloadable images are described on each course page and may evolve between cohorts when we publish clear release notes.
We may update minor lab files to fix errors or improve accessibility. Major scope changes trigger email notice to enrolled learners with options described in our cancellation policy when applicable.
Community spaces, if offered, are moderated for respectful conduct. We may remove content or suspend access for violations of the published code of conduct after a proportionate review.
Acceptance
By purchasing, enrolling, or browsing logged-in areas, you confirm that you are at least eighteen years old or have guardian authorization where required, and that information you provide is materially accurate.
If you enroll on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to billing and usage rules described at checkout or in your order form.
Continued use after we post changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms for new activity. Prior purchases remain governed by the version in effect at purchase unless law requires otherwise.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would point elsewhere.
For disputes that cannot be resolved informally, you and we agree to the jurisdiction of courts located in Seoul, except where consumer protection rules grant you immovable rights to sue in another forum.
Nothing in this section limits your ability to contact consumer agencies recognized in your place of residence where applicable law preserves that channel.
User obligations
You agree not to misuse labs for unauthorized intrusion, harassment, or distribution of malware. Training artifacts must remain inside isolated environments we describe unless your employer explicitly authorizes broader handling under their own controls.
You will keep account credentials confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect compromise. Shared accounts are not permitted except where a team license explicitly allows a named seat model.
You will not scrape our site in a manner that degrades service for others, nor attempt to bypass technical limits on downloads where we cap bandwidth for stability.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these terms, including conduct policies, after notice when feasible. Severe abuse may warrant immediate suspension to protect other learners.
You may stop using the service at any time. Certain provisions that by their nature should survive—such as liability limits, intellectual property, and governing law—remain in effect.
Upon termination, your license to use paid materials ends except for copies you are legally permitted to retain for archival evidence of your own learning history. Destruction of lab images may be required where export controls or partner agreements apply; we will communicate those rare cases clearly.

Process
To request a cancellation or refund, email contact@flash-current.one from the address used at purchase with your order reference and cohort name. We confirm receipt and outline next steps.
If you paid through an employer portal, requests may need to be initiated by your billing administrator; we will coordinate once we receive authorization.
Timeframe
For self-serve purchases, you may cancel within fourteen days of payment without giving a reason, provided you have not accessed more than twenty percent of downloadable lab materials or attended live sessions beyond the intro session, whichever threshold we describe in your receipt.
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within fourteen business days after approval, subject to processor timelines outside our control.
Scope
These rules apply to standard consumer-style purchases on flash-current.one. Enterprise statements of work may define different windows when separately signed.
Bundles are refunded as a whole; partial refunds inside a bundle require support review and may be prorated based on consumed components.
Contact
Use the same contact channel as other legal questions. Include screenshots of payment confirmation when available to speed matching.
Exceptions
No refunds are granted for misconduct-based removals, for accounts sharing credentials against policy, or for purchases made with fraudulent payment instruments.
Custom onsite workshops may carry non-refundable deposits stated in the proposal; those terms supersede this page for the deposit portion only.
Eligibility
You must be the payer or an authorized billing contact. We may refuse duplicate refund claims for the same cohort seat.
Consumer rights under Republic of Korea law remain available where they cannot be waived. If a court finds a portion of this policy invalid, the remainder stays effective.
