Notebook hygiene that survives a second reviewer
Reviewers should not hunt for timestamps or hash references. We ask for a frozen header block on every notebook export that lists image name, capture time zone, and verification outcome in plain language.
Second, every screenshot gets a one-line caption that states intent, not drama. “Shows Downloads folder after user session” beats “Suspicious folder” when you still owe proof.
Third, we require an explicit “open questions” bullet list at the end of each weekly submission. Instructors grade that section harshly on clarity, not on having answers. The practice carries into workplace tickets surprisingly well.
None of this replaces tooling skill, but it lowers the social friction of asking a teammate to read your work cold.
